The boys are spending a lot of time playing with one another now, even whilst I'm there. Gato was showing some fine jumping skills today. Pilot spent plenty of time rough and tumbling with Gato, and trying to kill my phone 🙄
Oakley was rather fascinated and relaxed sprawling herself all over my legs, and Sunol kept herself to herself.

Missed these spirited guys and gals last week. Pilot certainly seems to be filling out more, and the girls are coming on in leaps and bounds. Was pretty darn cold laying on the floor playing with them, but it's worth it. ~ Paula Pyke~ Tuesday Bobcat Mom
Gato and his favourite cuddly. He always vocalizes the moment you pick it up and then plays with it.
Pilot, getting chunkier
All this play is hard work - Pilot actually has his eyes closed.

The Girls, checking me out.
Oakley, deciding that stick needs sorting out

A Record Setting Year

This year WERC is setting a record with FIVE bobcat orphans in our care. Our 'Bobcat Mom' team is working hard to keep these orphans WILD and healthy. In the coming days and weeks they will be posting their individual daily diaries here, to share their behind the scenes stories of what it's like to be a surrogate mom to wild bobcats. Until then, here's a photo of one of our moms, volunteer Paula Pyke, with the boys, Pilot and Gato.
