Join in on fun and interactive activities designed just for kids!
Meet live birds of prey and other local wildlife with presentations by the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center (WERC)
Get up close to live tarantulas and snakes
Learn about some of the animals that live in Coe
Join a volunteer-led hike to spot tarantulas in their natural habitat
Listen to experts in geology, biology, and ornithology as they share fascinating insights through engaging talks and exhibits
Discover how you can contribute to citizen science and make a positive impact in your local community
Learn the exciting hobby of geocaching and embark on a guided treasure hunt
Take a peek inside a live, working bee hive
Explore and climb aboard an official state park fire engine (if available)
Learn about controlled burns. Why are they important?
Food
Grilled hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs will be available for purchase. Burgers are$10 (add cheese for 50 cents); hot dogs are $8. All meals include chips, desert and lemonade.
Parking
The event is free; However, a parking fee of $8 ($7 if there is as senior 62+ in the car) is collected by the state. Â PARKING IS VERY LIMITED; PLEASE CARPOOL IF YOU CAN !
